1. Scope & Compliance Standards
This Privacy Policy applies to all services offered by NutriPulse AI. We adhere to global data governance standards, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA 2023, India), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU Regulation 2016/679), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), PIPEDA (Canada), and LGPD (Brazil).
2. Data Collection & Purpose Specification
We collect user-provided biometric parameters (age, gender, height, weight, activity level) and dietary input (meal photos, text logs, receipt scans). This data is processed strictly for metabolic TDEE calculation, OR-Tools MILP portion optimization, and micronutrient auditing.
3. Artificial Intelligence & Vision Processing
Meal photos and receipt scans submitted to Vision AI gateways are stripped of personal identifiers prior to inference. AI processing gateways are contractually bound not to retain, store, or utilize your images or audio for foundation model training.
4. Encryption & Security Architecture
Data in transit is protected using TLS 1.3 encryption, and data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 standards. Row-Level Security (RLS) policies enforce strict isolation across user tenants.
5. Children's Privacy
NutriPulse is intended for individuals aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from children under 13 years of age.
